Our journey began in 1991, grounded in the herbal traditions of our Turkish heritage and shaped by a belief in the healing power of plants. Our founder, the late Haji Sevket, brought with him a deep, practical knowledge of natural remedies — passed down through generations and refined through experience.

He established Mercy Oil with one aim: to produce proper black seed oil, made with care, consistency, and respect for the plant. Everything was done in small batches, using traditional methods and no unnecessary additions.

That same approach continues today. Still run by our family, we've stayed true to the values we started with. No shortcuts. No distractions. Just natural remedies, made properly, for the people who need them.

Depending on the plant, we use cold-pressing, steam distillation, or supercritical CO₂ extraction — always aiming to retain the full strength of each ingredient, without damaging or diluting it.

Every product is made in small batches and hand-bottled in our London workshop. This keeps us close to the process, from raw ingredient to finished bottle, and ensures we can maintain the consistency and quality our customers rely on.
