Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we do! Our gift cards make the perfect present for anyone on their wellness journey.
Available in various denominations, they're ideal when you want to give the gift of natural wellness but prefer to let your recipient choose their own products from our range.
You can purchase a gift card here, and it will be delivered electronically - perfect for last-minute gifts or sending to loved ones far away.
Gift cards never expire and can be used across our entire range of organic oils, capsules, and extracts.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, you can, but please act quickly! Once your order has been prepared, bottled, and shipped, we won't be able to make any changes or cancellations.

Shipping & Returns
How long will my order take to arrive?
We offer next-day delivery with DPD for orders placed before 11 AM, Monday through Thursday. If your order is over £80, shipping is free; otherwise, it's a flat rate of £5.95.
Please note that orders placed after 11 AM on Thursday will be shipped the following Monday.

How do I track my order?
Tracking your Mercy Oil order is simple. We ship all orders via DPD's next-day delivery service (for orders placed before 11am Monday-Thursday).
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll automatically receive a tracking email from DPD with your unique tracking code and a link to their tracking portal. This typically arrives within a few hours of dispatch.
You can then track your parcel's journey in real-time through the DPD tracking portal. DPD also offers helpful delivery options like selecting a safe place, choosing a neighbour, or rescheduling delivery for a more convenient time.

Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship exclusively within the UK, ensuring our customers receive their orders quickly and reliably.
However, we're excited to share that we're exploring options to begin shipping to mainland Europe and beyond in the near future. We understand that wellness knows no borders, and we're working diligently to bring our products to a wider audience.

Do you have a shop I can visit?
We don't have a retail shop open to the public. As a family business that's been operating for over 30 years, we focus on crafting our products fresh to order from our London workshop.
This approach ensures you receive the freshest, most potent products possible, bottled specifically for your order rather than sitting on a shelf.

Can I collect my order in person?
Local collection isn't something we currently offer as standard, as our workshop isn't set up for customer visits.
However, if you have special circumstances or need your order urgently, please call us on 02083662585 and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
With our next-day DPD delivery service and free shipping over £80, most customers find home delivery convenient and reliable.
How do I return an item?
Returning an item to Mercy Oil is straightforward. If you've changed your mind, just let us know within 14 days of receiving your order, and you'll have another 14 days to send it back to us.
Make sure the product is unopened and in perfect condition. Before sending anything back, please contact us so we can guide you through the process. You'll need to cover the return shipping costs, and we recommend using a tracked service to ensure it reaches us safely.
If your item arrives with us and is unopened and intact, we'll issue your refund immediately. However, if the product is opened or damaged when it arrives on our end, we won't be able to process the refund.

Black Seed Oil remains our most popular all-rounder, supporting immunity, digestion, and general wellbeing. If you prefer convenience, our capsules offer the same benefits in an easy-to-take format.
For specific needs: Milk Thistle Oil supports liver health, Wild Nettle Seed Oil helps with seasonal allergies and joint support, while our Oregano Water is excellent for digestive and respiratory wellness.

Can I use the oils on my skin and hair?
Absolutely! Many of our oils offer wonderful benefits for external use.
Black Seed Oil is particularly versatile - it can help with dry skin, eczema, and psoriasis when applied topically. For hair, massage it into your scalp to promote healthy growth and reduce dandruff. Leave it for 30 minutes before washing.
Our Rosemary Oil is excellent for stimulating hair growth and improving scalp circulation. Always dilute it with a carrier oil before applying to skin.
The Massage Oil is specifically formulated for skin application, perfect for relieving muscle tension and moisturising.
For facial use, we recommend doing a patch test first, especially if you have sensitive skin.
Are your products suitable for vegetarians and vegans?
At Mercy Oil, we are committed to providing products that cater to various dietary preferences. All of our products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, with the exception of our Capsule Range.
The capsules contain Halal gelatin, which is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

We use a meticulous cold-pressing process that ensures the powerful nutrients, particularly thymoquinone, remain intact. Thymoquinone, the active compound in black seed oil, has been the focus of extensive research, with profound effects on health.

What's the difference between cold-pressed and other extraction methods?
The extraction method makes all the difference to the quality and potency of our oils.
Cold-pressing is a mechanical process that extracts oil without heat or chemicals. We press our seeds at temperatures below 40°C, which preserves the delicate nutrients, enzymes, and beneficial compounds like thymoquinone in black seed oil.
In contrast, heat extraction and chemical solvents may produce higher yields but destroy many of the therapeutic compounds. The high temperatures can oxidise the oil, reducing its shelf life and nutritional value.
Our commitment to cold-pressing, though more costly and time-consuming, ensures you receive oils in their most natural, potent form - just as nature intended. You can taste the difference in the fresh, pure flavour.
Do you test on animals?
Never. We have never tested on animals and never will.
As a family business rooted in natural wellness and respect for all living beings, animal testing goes against everything we stand for. All our products are developed using traditional knowledge passed down through generations, combined with modern research on willing human participants.
We're proud to be cruelty-free and believe that nature's remedies should bring healing without causing harm.
What is the shelf life or expiry date of your products?
Our oils and remedies are made with natural ingredients and contain no artificial preservatives. Each item has a best-before date on a sticker attached to the base of the container, which corresponds to specific batch or harvest numbers that we maintain in our records.
Generally, our oils have a shelf life of 24 months when unopened. Once opened, we recommend using them within 6 months for optimal potency and efficacy.
It's worth noting that these dates are conservative guidance required by regulations. When stored properly in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat, our natural remedies can often retain their quality well beyond the stated dates.
To maximise shelf life, please store all items away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Refrigeration is not necessary but can extend the life of opened products.

How should I store my oils and supplements?
To maintain the quality and potency of our oils and supplements, it's best to store them in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Keep the lids tightly closed, and they'll stay fresh and effective for longer.
